Latifa Elhachimi

As a veterinarian with over 7 years of experience in clinical practice, Latifa developed technical, commercial, management, and relationship-building skills. Next, she worked 2 years for the CRO ClinVet gaining knowledge in research, innovation, and control of veterinary drugs. Inspired to learn more about scientific research, she then pursued a PhD at Ghent University in the project 'Alleviating zoonotic and animal tick-borne diseases in Morocco’, granted by VLIR-UOS (2018-2022). Her PhD was the result of intensive international collaboration.

In Kreavet, Latifa promotes international collaboration in animal health research through the Secretariat of the STAR-IDAZ IRC. Her knowledge in management and research are an asset in collaborating with clinical, academic, and governmental partners to make a positive impact in the field of animal health.
